StreamNative was started by a team of Apache Pulsar and Apache BookKeeper PMC members, committers and contributors, who believe in Event Streams is the right foundation for enterprise data. Many of us have been working on Apache BookKeeper-based event streaming systems (such as Apache Pulsar, and etc) for years, and have seen the success of them at leading internet companies. Now we are focusing on building a larger community of Apache Pulsar and Apache BookKeeper, bringing the technologies to many other companies, and helping them get easy access to their data as real-time streams.
Our mission is to help the companies over the world make values and innovations out of their enterprise data as real-time event streams. We provides a Cloud-Native Event Streaming Platform powered by Apache Pulsar for data science teams to collaborate with data engineering and business teams to accelerate their business innovations. By leveraging the Apache Pulsar technology, StreamNative enables the leaders in industries such as gaming, financial services, blockchain, retail, logistics, manufacturing, media and IoT, move data from isolated legacy data systems into one unified event streaming platform where they can act in real-time.
Apache Pulsar is 100% open source, hosted at the vendor-independent Apache Software Foundation. At StreamNative, we are fully committed to maintaining this open development model. We believe that no event streaming platform will win in this space unless it is fully open. Pulsar is one of the fast-growing open source communities in the event streaming space. StreamNative works within the open source community to maintain this momentum.
