StreamNative partners with Microsoft Azure to deliver fully managed data streaming on Azure infrastructure. Launched on Azure Marketplace in December 2024, StreamNative Cloud on Azure supports both Serverless and BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) deployment models with consolidated Azure billing.
Azure-Native Architecture
StreamNative Cloud on Azure integrates with core Azure services:
- Azure Blob Storage for tiered storage, offloading cold data to cost-effective object storage
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for deployment orchestration and auto-scaling
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for enterprise identity management and single sign-on
- Azure Virtual Network for secure network isolation and private connectivity
Deployment Models
- Serverless: Fully managed with automatic scaling — no clusters to provision or manage. Pay only for what you consume.
- BYOC: StreamNative manages the streaming platform while data and compute remain in the customer's Azure subscription, meeting strict data residency and compliance requirements.
Geo-Replication
StreamNative on Azure supports geo-replication across Azure regions, enabling disaster recovery and low-latency access for globally distributed applications. Teams can replicate topics between Azure regions with configurable replication policies.
